I have blogged a little while back about the ACOCP, Australian Community of Child Photographers, where we volunteer to take photographs for families with terminally ill children, prematures births and stillborns. Its an honour to be let into these families lives at such a emotional and often painful time. Each year the ACOCP have an Exhibition to show and promote the work that we do, hopefully to reach some new photographers willing to volunteer and also to highlight to the community that this service is available. Three of my photographs have been accepted into this years Exhibition in Melbourne at the Eckersley’s Open Space Gallery opening on the 14th of July. If you are in Melbourne, do go along and have a look at the exhibition, there are some wonderful photographs and stories being shared this year.
