Its such a beautiful day ..

Its so nice to be able to spend so much time outside without the heat and humidity of Malaysia .. the kids are loving the big backyard, lots of things to do and I am loving the fact that they are outside and not in front of the TV ….. the playstation hasn’t even been set up yet !! .. here are a couple of photos from this afternoon. I needed a photo for the Pretty Pink Tuesday Flickr group, the theme this week, pink umbrella … so I remembered the umbrellas I bought from the Central Market in KL and asked for a volunteer … Miss 8 gladly obliged

Home ..

Made it to Sydney …. It has been a week today we arrived back in Sydney and its only now that I am getting my head above packing materials and finding time to process and post :)) … We moved backed into the house on Saturday and other than the new furniture it feels like we never left. Still a big two weeks coming up so posting could be a bit patchy … hope you are liking the new blog ..

Here are some photos I took today, from down at Bradfield Park on the Harbour foreshore. I wanted a “I’m Home” photo for Flickr, so we took a break from the packing, got some fish and chips and watched the sunset over the harbour …. I really have missed this city

Engagement ..

I had the pleasure of taking some engagement photos for a friend of my sisters…. We spent the late afternoon at Currumbin beach on the sand dunes and the rocks. We also drove out to the Currumbin Rock Pools about a half hours drive into the hinterland… Amazingly beautiful place and I made them climb over all the rocks and I just put on my telephoto lens LOL …..

All in all it was a great afternoon, good learning experience and some fabulous photos which I hope they love …

Being Tourist III ..

Amazingly it took us three years to find the time to go the Petronas Towers Skybridge … The view of the city is actually better from the KL Menara, but the close up view of the towers themselves is well worth the trouble of getting tickets. Since entry is free, it is very popular, so you have to queue very early in the morning to get your allotted time, if you are they early enough you can pick your time … so these photos are from around 11.00 am …
