Perisher

Just a few personal photographs ..

This year we decided to head down to Perisher, the girls hadn’t been skiing before, well .. they hadn’t even touched snow before.  They all had a great time, with an amazing amount of snow for the beginning of the season …. and only one fractured wrist …

On the way to Perisher we travelled through some strange weather ..

Sydney Photographer {Engagement}

After a few computer malfunctions I can finally put up a few previews of this Engagment session.  In Sydney for just a short time, and we had to contend with rain .. and so much rain.  The couple had suggested the Westin Hotel just off Martin place, I must admit I haven’t been in there before, but wow ! what a foyer.  This is the old GPO bulding and its absolutely wonderful inside.  Thankfully the rain held off and we managed a few outside on Martin Place .. Thanks for being patient the photos are on their way today..

Southern Highlands {Photographer Sydney}

A few photos from our weekend away with the girls.  A yearly event which proves to regenerate our spirits, and we talked and laughed till our cheeks hurt.  Bellmore, the house in Southern Highlands was massive, lacking a bit of finesse and warmth however, but it was still worth the stay… There are some photos of the house and some of the frost of Sunday morning..

Southern Highland Wedding

A wedding in the Southern Highlands …  Even the rain couldn’t dampen the day, in fact we got some beautiful shots with sun backlighting the rain and an amazing full rainbow.  Everyone seemed to have a wonderful time at the small and intimate wedding, I know I did …..

Some of my favourite images from the day ….

By the Sea {Sydney Photographer}

On our way north to Brisbane, we stayed over night at Coffs Harbour.  Usually we arrive too late to get out and see the sights, this time we made good time with the driving and the afternoon light was beautiful, so we headed to the closest beach.  I snapped away as the light faded and the 3 kids had fun by the water.

A trip north

Over Christmas we headed to Queensland as we do every second year, to spend time with my family.  Little did we know just a couple of days after we left Brisbane, they were in for the biggest floods since 1974.  Luckily all my family were ok, waterlogged, but mostly all were high enough to miss the brunt of the rising river.  So I didn’t get many photos in our wet two weeks, my meagre offerings below …
